Rampant Theft of Tubas In California

Who is stealing tubas from high schools in southern Los Angeles, California? Ana Kasparian, Cenk Uygur, Steve Oh and Jesus Godoy break it down.

LA Times: The thefts, band leaders say, are probably attributable to Southern California’s banda music craze and to the high prices the brass instruments fetch on the black market.

I used to think I was a badass because I played trumpet until the middle of 9th grade and could hit most of the high notes needed for mariachi music. Not anymore. I picked the wrong instrument apparently.

Don’t steal tubas, kids.
